The Lords of Karma, also called the Great Karmic Board are eight ascended masters who are assigned to help adjudicate mankind's karma in the most effective and compassionate way. These eight beings are mediators between the perfection of the law and the imperfection of the human condition.

The Lords of Karma adjudicate the cycles of individual karma, group karma, national karma and world karma. They daily weigh the balance of mankind's use of energy as it affects the spiritual ecosystem of the planet within the solar system and the galaxy. These great beings always apply the law in a way that will give people the best opportunity for spiritual progress. When spirals of negative karma can no longer be held back and must be released into the earth as a balancing action, the ascended master Cuzco and his team of scientists do all they can to mitigate the severity of cataclysm. If mankind will invoke the violet flame in sufficient measure, that karma and its destructive effect can be transmuted in large measure before it hits the physical plane, mitigating the potential devastation.

The Karmic Board is comprised of the Great Divine Director, who brings his momentum of divine direction to the group, and who holds within his causal body the divine plan of every soul assigned to earth. We also find the Goddess of Liberty, champion of the oppressed; Nada, the great Keeper of the Flame of Life; Pallas Athena, Goddess of Truth; Portia, Goddess of Justice; Kuan Yin, Goddess of Mercy and the Elohim Cyclopea, who focuses the action of the all-seeing eye of God. In recent years, Vajratsattva, spokesperson for the five Dhyani buddhas also joined the Karmic Board, lending the great momentum of light of these five celestial buddhas, along with their antidotes to the five poisons.

The Karmic Board ministers to each soul, in cooperation with the soul's own Mighty I AM Presence and Holy Christ Self, determining when, where and in what family a soul shall embody. All souls pass before the karmic board before and after each incarnation on earth. Before coming into embodiment again, they are given the life mission that will be theirs to accomplish, along with an overview of the karmic allotment from previous lifetimes that they will have to balance in the new life.

After the change called death, souls pass before the karmic board again for a life review, which was so well described by near-death survivor Dannion Brinkley in his book, Saved By the Light and in the interview quoted below:

“When you go down that tunnel to a bright and beautiful light, you're met by a Spirit Being. After the tunnel, you lift out of your body and realize that you are an energy being. We all think we're such poor, pitiful, little humans trying to have a mystical experience — when really we're great, awesome, powerful spiritual beings trying to have a human experience. You come to a place where you see your entire life pass before you in a 360-degree panorama. You miss nothing. You watch your birth. Then you watch your life from a second-person point of view. You literally become every person that you've ever encountered, and you feel the direct results of your interaction between yourself and that person.

You have a chance to forgive yourself. You review your life as if you were the person that you were affecting with your behavior. I had to feel the pain that I inflicted on others and the damage that I'd done, both physically, mentally, and emotionally. But guilt has nothing to do with it. ''Do unto others as you would have others do unto you'' because you really are them.”

The karmic board determines when a soul has balanced enough karma and sufficiently fulfilled their dharma (sacred labor) to earn the ascension in the light. The karmic board is also involved when a soul has created so much negative karma, lifetime after lifetime, in rebellion against God that it must be tried before the Court of the Sacred Fire on Sirius and consumed by the Maxim light. This event, known as the second death, though tragic, is actually a great mercy of the law for the soul who is no longer able or willing to balance its karma.

 

 

Ma'at

In Ancient Egypt, this entire process before the Lords of Karma was associated with the Goddess Ma'at, a Divine Mother figure whose name literally meant “truth” in Egyptian.

The Egyptians believed that the universe was an ordered and rational place, that functioned with predictability, and regularity and constancy of cycles. In the moral sphere. Both morally and physically, the universe was in perfect balance because purity was rewarded and sin was punished. Because of Ma'at, the Egyptians knew that everything in the universe worked on a pattern, which the Greeks later called “logos.” Ma'at was truth, order, balance, harmony and justice personified. She represented all things right as they should be. The Egyptians thought that if Ma'at didn't exist, the universe would become chaos, once again.

Ma'at was also the judge of the Egyptian underworld. Souls of the deceased had to go through the Halls of Ma'at where they faced a tribunal of Gods. The deceased person's heart was placed on a scale opposite the Feather of Ma'at. Thoth (Hermes) weighed the heart. If the deceased was found to not have upheld Ma'at during his life by lying, cheating, killing or in some way transgressing the principles of Ma'at, his heart was devoured and he died the final death. If the heart was free from the impurities of sin, it was light as the feather of Ma'at, and the departed soul was allowed to go on to the afterlife.

During our lifetime on earth, we became one with Ma'at by developing the following virtues:

‡ Control of actions
‡ Devotion of purpose
‡ Faith in the ability of your teacher to teach you the truth
‡ Faith in yourself to assimilate and wield the truth
‡ Freedom from the resentment of having been persecuted
‡ Freedom from the resentment of having been wronged
‡ Cultivating the ability to distinguish between right and wrong
‡ Cultivating the ability to distinguish between that which is real and that which is unreal.
